Fees
My research fees vary considerably depending on the scope and complexity of the research, accomodating a variety of budgets.
I have an hourly research fee, and an hourly minimum, but generally no payment is due up front. Copying and additional expenses are not included.
For those of you requesting specific documents only, I have specific fees for BC Vital Events (birth, marriage, death registrations), obituaries and other notices, wills & probates, divorce orders, and simple searches. The hourly rate does not apply in this case.
Minor copying charges are generally included for specific document rates only. I'll notify you otherwise.
Documents will be dispatched upon receipt of payment.
E-Delivery service available for all documents (except archival photographs), for an additional fee. Delivery time is much quicker than regular mail, often saving 1-2 weeks time for international clients. Documents will be mailed to you in Portable Document Format (*.pdf). Please notify me before you send payment if you would like to use this service.
Fees subject to change without notice.
